We develop and produce all formulas in our factory in Serbia, with strict quality control and dermatological testing. We believe in simple, effective care for every generation: from a baby’s first days, through teenage skin, to the daily routine of the whole family. Dahlia - a source of beauty since 1924

Dahlia is a company specialized in the production of cosmetic products, with roots dating back to 1924. Founded in Belgrade, our company has become one of the oldest factories in the field of cosmetics in the Balkans with decades of experience.

History of our company

The roots of the Dahlia company go back to 1924. “English drugstore Union”, Dahlia’s predecessor, was located in the very center of Belgrade at 33 Knez Mihailova Street at that time. This drugstore had a laboratory where cosmetic preparations were produced, but it was also engaged in the sale of the most famous world brands of cologne, perfumes, creams, and powders. It is interesting that “Union” also possessed a license from the English company “Elizabeth Arden”, which was filled and sold in Belgrade at that time.

In the early 1950s, by a decision of state authorities, “Gradska laboratorija”, as the drugstore “Union” was previously renamed, became part of the Balkan Chemical Industry. It soon separated as a separate legal entity and continued its independent work at a new location in Dušanovac under the name Dahlia, where it was located until 1969.

From 1969 to the present day, Dahlia has been located in Zemun.
